2006 tt 3.2 stereo on safe

hi I’m new but I picked up an 06 3.2 and stereo is stuck in safe mode and I have no code, how can I get it working¿

You’ll have to have the code. Look in the owners manual. It is supposed to be recorded there. Some cars have it on a tag in the spare tire compartment. I believe you can get it from Audi with proper ownership credentials. IMHO it’s an unnessary pain. I doubt anybody EVER stole one of these radios.

You'll need your VIN AND the SN of the radio itself (located on a label and stamped into the radio body), started with AUZ on my 2005 TT Concert .
Go to https://www.audiusa.com/myaudi and then go to Audi Chat at the bottom of that page.
10 minutes later Audi provided me with the code to my radio for free.
Toughest part was getting the radio out of the dash to get the SN.
