225R trouble starting...
When my car sits for a while and I try and start it is won't start. I have to try a few times and then it will start. What is going on here? It seems like there is no fuel getting to the cylinders. What might this be?

Had exactly the same problem on my A8 (more)
You have to check :
- engine speed (rev) sensor and wiring
- fuel pump electronics
With catalytic converters, the computer won't allow the engine to start (no fuel no sparks) if the engine speed given using the starter is not high enough to avoid unburnt fuel to get into the converter. Of course if the engine speed sensor doesn't work, the computer does not get the info and does not allow to start.
Exactly the problem I had on my A8.
An electronic problem on the fuel pump is possible also.
Your audi dealer just needs a few seconds to make the dignosis by "asking" the electronic memory<p>Franck
