Default Is 25 PSI spiked boost too much on my SPS 3 standard setting?

And when people say they have 1.7 bar, is that 17 lbs?

I was thinking my gauge might be off, but if I had messed up on the installaTTion, it would probably read too low instead of too high, right?

Thanks!

Default Crank it up :P

Actually, I dont know much about SPS3 so I wont speak in certain terms, but I would think 25psi on 93 shouldnt be too high.

Default mm, I think I heard that

24psi of boost is the point of diminishing returns as far as creating heat vs horsepower.

but then you are talking "spike" - where do you settle?

Oh, and 1.7 bar is the number of "atmospheres". So 1.7 x 14.2(?) is your psi number
(is 14.2 right? somehow I think it may be 14.7....)

Default It settles down around 10 or so depending on where my foot is...

And either way, that multiplier puts the boost up around 24.5 and greater, so that seems in line.

Thanks for the heads up!

Default Not sure about that but

the gauge installation can not be messed up, you either have vaccum or you dont.

Where did you tie it into?

Also, I replied to your earlier post regarding boost.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1316032.phtml">See that post here, although it is a few posts below</a></li></ul>

Default I saw it. Here's the link to my earlier post.

I don't know, maybe I should dial it down to 4 or five on the boost...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1315655.phtml">ghettofabulous</a></li></ul>

Default if you spike to 25 and settle in at 10 you have a major boost leak...

I'm running a boost machine on stock ecu and I spike to just under 19 and hold 16-17.
