Default Raffi, It looks similar to the tiptronic mechanism from those pics

Maybe you can make something similar to the SPP for the tiptronic to work with this [I'm talking about the metal adapter they have for B5 A4s S4s].

The side interlock looks very similar IMO.

Default I don't have a 3.2, but maybe you could make just the leather part in metal?

It looks like the mechanism fits inside it without a problem, maybe that is possible, just making after market surrounds for the Audi mechanism?

Default I see that, hmm..thank you for the link, but I'm worried about the safety

issues, it looks like then, it would be easy to slide the shifter, and that could cuase a big problem if the car goes in gear without depressing brakes to release it.

I'll study it more.

Default It was a pain to take this thing apart Tom, it has the leather layer-->>

and then it had thick plastic molded ofer the mechanism, it was not easy to break apart.

Default You can't easily slide the shifter ...>

the safety interlock switch mechanism is maintained but translated into a vertical motion, where you need to pull the **** UP for changing gear positions on behalf of the eliminated side-switch.

Default I see, I'm not sure if it will be an acceptable solution

not sure if people would pull the **** up to change, but I'm getting some new ideas here.

Will let the forum updated soon, I hope

Thank you for all your help.
