Default 3.2 TT Front Bumper from VagParts - Long

I have been in contact with Martyn at VagParts.com concerning the new 3.2TT front bumper. I was about to order the OEM chin spoiler but noticed the 3.2TT bumper has that included plus I like the look of the gills. On the 3.2TT bumper the left and right lower openings are really blocked. Consequently you would need to either remove them, or replace them with a mesh material to get air flow to either your TTDA inlets, or the existing OEM intecooler. I plan to install stainless mesh on all of my lower openings.

Since I wanted the OEM chin spoiler, needed to repaint my front bumper, and planned to install stainless mesh inserts, then the new 3.2 TT bumper works out for me.

Martyn at VagParts.com has 2 of these bumpers. I and another TT'er have spoken for these. Martyn has said he is giving a good discount on these now (~$600) and could do even better if he could at least get 5 more interested parties.

Below is a cut from the spreadsheet he sent me regarding price.

Default ill say it again, jsut wait a month or so when these are sped'd

in the US at any US dealer.

BTW, i think he is spec'ing the open lower grill, so 225 folks need not worry about blocking IC's

Default Umm, if you dont have an fmic the 3.2 wont really work. It doesnt have those little scoops going up

to the intercooler(s). I think, anyway, since the 3.2 doesnt have any.

Default I've got a FMIC and I plan to add stainless mesh for all

my lower grills. This way my TTDA continues to get fresh air forced into it.

I've always loved the look of the RS4 with the side gills. I've even bought that bumper for my Passat.

I just never cared for the glued over look of the OEM chin spoiler as it has always appeared as "added on" instead of planned on being there.

Whether I buy a new bumper or not, I still need to get my front end repainted due to the zillion rock chip marks. I want to get all this done and behind me, so I can put on an invicashield and be ready for a nasty winter here in Chicago.

Hey so I'm sorry if I don't get this but if you're stock, the new bumper won't work? Cause I've just put a small dent in mine and would like to know all my options.
