I have yet to find out what the 3.2 TT's MPG figures are..
In the UK, they have 3 categories for fuel consumption, urban (our "city"), extra urban (our "highway"), and combined, which is actually closer to our "highway" figures.

On Audi's UK site then, they show the following numbers (urban/extra urban/combined):

1.8 (180hp): 21.6/37.2/29.7
1.8 (225hp): 21.2/39.8/30.1
3.2 (250hp): 20.8/37.2/28.8

Given that on Audi USA's site, the 180hp gets 21/29 (city/hwy) and the 225hp gets 20/28, what do you expect the 3.2 to average?

British mileage figures are usually given in miles per Imperial gallon. And Imperial gallon is larger than a US gallon. To convert from X miles/imp. gal to miles/US gal, multiply X by 0.833.

So the british combined numbers you cite above would be

180 hp 24.7
225 hp 25.0
250 hp 24.0

which seem closer to the US highway numbers.

Where are you located? Are these official numbers from Audi, and if so why aren't they on the audiusa.com website?
