Default 440 cc injectors with VR6 MAF housing?

I noticed this while digging around on ECS' website. They say "Customers have had good sucess combining these injectors with VR6 MAF housings with stock or standard chipped programming".

I haven't seen this discussed on here before. Any thoughts? Does the VR6 housing provide much more flow?

IIRC, that only works on 180's. 225 housings are the same as VR6's.

Default Just like the **** concept.....>

a 4 bar takes the place of the bigger injectors for a lot less$$. You could do either though, as long as you're supplying more air..

Default that's what I figured...

you said the size of the **** was at the limit though even with a higher FPR didn't you? such as running at 5 bar.

Default It's a balancing act...>

Too much fuel (5 bar) will result in LESS power even with a ****. I currently run my adjustable FPR at 3.8 bar which is about perfect....

Default right, but i didn't know if the **** was at the its max diameter for benefit...

or if you could run a larger id and run a higher fuel pressure. but if you don't actually flow more air than it wouldn't make sense.

Default No...You can't..>

really run a larger ID. As the ID increases, the MAF signal is reduced. After a certain point, no matter what the fuel pressure, The ECU will interpret the data poorly and not provide proper info to the injectors. We have a load based system that's taking data from a lot of sources...It's not purely dependent on just air and fuel for the proper calculations..
