48 Hours about TT crash test last Thurs? Did anyone see it? Is there a discussion here?
 

A buddy informed me this afternoon that 48 Hours ("news" magazine here in US) had a comparison of damage to car and / or driver in TT front crash. Result was driver fared very badly in 40mph test.

Did anyone see this? Have I not gone far enough back in the archives? Comments? Questions? Answers? ;)

I didn't see the show, but hunted around for information on TT crash tests (I only spent a minute, so this isn't exhaustive). The attached link shows some Audi results. A TT was tested in 99 - the only bad area was on collision claims ("marginal"), which we see reflected in collision on our insurance policies. Hasn't been a discussion on it. Didn't see the show myself. Wish I had.

If nobody saw it, chances are I was bullshirted. The guy that told me is notorious BS'er.

Dateline did a deal on crash test. TT not included.
