8 Weeks, $10,000 and one new a$$hole later....
I get my car back. Needlesss to say the new A$$hole is going to be the Audi dealership when I drive my car through the building this morning. I brought the car in EIGHT WEEKS AGO for an engine knock, and boost issues. Upon picking the car up last night, the car had AN ENGINE KNOCK, BOOST ISSUES, and a CEL on. They've given me countless excuses as to what the problem was... here are a few of my favorites... "we found green coolant under your cylander head... we think that caused the motor to go- We noticed your car was chipped, we think the timing advance from the chip caused the oil jet cooler to fall off destroying the piston/block- We think it's the aftermarket parts on your car making the knocking noise now..."
They get an ultimatum today... fix the car on the house or I'm contacting the BBB and the troubleshooting section of my local news station.

Easy there.....>
Just the simple fact that you are chipped is reason enough for them to blow you off on warranty repairs, as everything you've mentioned "Could" be attributed to the additional strain Chipping puts on a motor. you're on thin ground methinks.....Personally, I would tread lightly if it even looks like they are going to do this at no charge..

finess my friend... always build a good relationship with your dealer technical advisor..if that
doesnt work, slowly moves up chain of command. and also number 1 rule, always reset your chip when you bring it in for something important as this. just a way to protect yourself from being screwd by dealer. hope it works out for yah.

I'm wondering... what was the $10,000 for?
It might have a role to play in how you approach the service manager with the issue.
(same issues, for same work and paid for - under 90 days?)
I think Mr. Schwing has the right tact.
