Default A4 guy here..need some answers about power gasket
You guys seem to know more about this then the A4 guys. I have a B5 A4 with a K04, chip.... I just put on this power gasket from New South perfomance and hear that these things melt? Should I take it out and get the evo heat shield, put my old stock one back on, or stay with what I have. I know these things have melted on the TT's and chipped A4 B6's but don't know if it will on mine. Thanks guys

Default Yep, mine and many others have melted...

I had it for about a year. It didn't melt, but it deformed. I replaced it with the phenolic one.
