Default About to change pads/rotors and brake lines/fluid-- question....

I have changed pads and rotors before no problem, but after reading Ive read some things that if your car has ESP that you will need vag-com. It did not say what you would need to do with it just that you need one. I DO have one and am fairly familiar with it so could someone please post a DIY or any tips. I have done a pretty good search but could use a little help. thanks!

Default No need for a Vag....>>

They're just brakes. You may need the special tool for the rears though. You need to rotate the pistons as you compress them and the brake tool makes it easier (you can borrow them from Autozone)

Default I did borrow that tool from the 'zone'

Is it a fairly easy job to do the brake lines and fluid?

Default Simple....>>

Even easier with a Motive power bleeder. One man job in that case. The VAG is typically used to cycle/purge the ABS system, but such a small amount of fluid may remain in there, it's really not that important.. You can do a 99% bleed either manually or with the Motive..
