Default About fitting 3.2 TT Rear Control arms on current TTs .. >>>

It looks like from the pics, the 3.2 sits lower than current TTs with the right camber.

Would you think those rear control arms would be used on our cars intead of getting Forge or KMAC kits in case of getting aftermarket suspension?

Default Hard to tell...

in the UK you can order TTs direct from the factory with lowered suspension (S-Line suspension). With the S-Line they haven't added any way to adjust the camber they just made the acceptable range bigger.

Default I would hesitate to draw conclusions from pictures alone...>>

I would suspect they're the same, but only the part's fiche and some measuring will tell. There are lots of good solutions out there for the camber issue..

Default Remember that...

Every photo I've seen of the 3.2 thus far shows it with 18" wheels. The larger wheel fills the wheel well a bit better, so that may be one factor.

Also, the shocks and springs are different, so it might not be an issue of control arms at all. I'd probably just buy 1/2 of a KMAC kit and get it done, if I were in your shoes.

Default Re: The rear arms are the same !!!!!!!!!!!!

The rear controll arms for the 3.2 TT are no different than those fitted to the 225 or 180 BHP Quattro models

...and I'm willing to bet most everything else is also, 'cept the front brakes.

Default It's the rear brakes I'm really hoping are upgraded.

If they are then that would be a real 4-corner brake upgrade for TT owners.
Yes, I know bigger rotors in the back is mostly cosmetic since most of the braking force is up front but dammit, I want bigger brakes!

Default here is my prototype rear big brake kit.

just got the pics yesterday. They are still working on it. When done, it will have a parking brake caliper too.

Assuming the 18" is a proper Plus1 conversion (same diameter), that is not true.

So what if they could? Wouldn't they cost far more than any available remedy?
