Default About last weeks "popping noise when backing up" thread

I promised whomever that was that I would post the results of my strut bushing and strut bearing replacement.
I had had that odd "pop" when I backed out of the drive or any time I changed directions while turning sharply for over a year. The new strut bearings and bushings have all but eliminated the sound. The Front suspension feels better too. Firm yet resilient. The gap at the shock tower to the strut bushing retainer is reduced to approx 3/16 " It had grown to well over 3/8" over the past year. Goodbye to that "crunchy" feel in the front end. I would recommend this service to any who have over 50,000 mi.

Default Yup. Really transforms things.

Lots of bang for the buck with this bit of maintenance. (Actually, less banging and less bucking, but you know what I mean.)
