Default ABT Front Grille install help.

I have my new ABT Front Grille painted and ready for install. I have the front bumper off and took out the stock grille (what a pain). I found that the stock grille snaps into the bumper opening, but the ABT grille has no such "snaps" for the orignal location. I am thinking about using the same glue to install it, that I used for the front spoiler.

The opening for the OEM grille is larger than the ABT, but the ABT has a large lip that overhangs the opening by an inch or so.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Default You drill and screw it in.......>

Just drill 6 or so pilot holes around the inside circumference (inside the bumper), and mount with self tapping screws...

Some pics here from Nansaidh's install party...&gt;<ul><li><a href="http://public.fotki.com/nansaidh/audi_tt/gtgs/reston_grill_instal-1/my_pics/">http://public.fotki.com/nansaidh/audi_tt/gtgs/reston_grill_instal-1/my_pics/</a</li></ul>

Default Hi Steve, I think you've confused the Abt grill with the P-two grill

I have the Abt grill.. You just glue it on.

Comes with glue in the package.

Car in the body shop now getting ft end re-painted along w/ Abt grill

Default Just use clear silicone...

on the back of the grill and center it. Hold it place at least 12 hours with packing tape. Box should have had some photos and lots of writing in German. -Pete
