Default after run coolant pump

01 225: my after run coolant pump is not working. Any ideas on where to start? Is it always the coolant pump that goes or should I look elsewhere first?

also, thanks to all those who contribute to the FAQ page.

Default

most the time it's the pump that bites the dust.

Default just replaced mine using SparTTan's writeup in the FAQ

Very easy repair. Mine had started making death rattle noises.

Default hows the AC and the radiator fans?

I had a bad fuse connection in the box on the top of the battery, and my after run coolant pump, AC compressor, and radiator fans stopped working. I would definately notice the other two not working first in Texas, but if its cold enough where you are, you might not have. So check those, cause it could be as simple as a rusty fuse bottom.
