Default The age old question. Turbo before the head or head before the turbo?

I'm replacing the turbo and the rods. So the head is coming off.

Is it easier to pull the head with the manifold and turbo still attached? This implies it is realatively easier to pull the dp bolts off the turbo than to pull the turbo bolts off th manifold.

or do we pull the head, mani, turbo and dp as one big unit?

Thoughts?

Default Iv'e pulled the manifold with the turbo still attached and then the head separately...

Thats in a FWD 180- lots of room. May depend on how easy it is to get at those bolts. Now is the time to replace any questionable bolts stud/nuts. Good luck.
