ahh! The joy of cooking "rice" :-)
I'll admit that my TT is a far cry from being able to run against a true sports car like an M3, an STI or an EVO but it sure is nice to spank some rice every now and then and that's exactly what I did today.
It's been a while since I've had any decent driving action. In fact last time I did I got the pants spanked off of me by this hot little M3.
Anyway, today there's a storm brewing, which means dropping temperatures and rising pressure. The perfect conditions for a Turbo and my TT was running strong today.
I'm just driving along casually on my way to lunch when this Eclipse (which could have done a cameo on 2 Fast 2 Furious) comes up and tailgates me. Well, I gave him what he was asking for and smoked him. After whoopin up on him 3 or 4 times between well distanced stop lights he got tired of losing and wouldn't step up anymore. So, here I am driving along again when this Civic (riced out beyond recognition) darts in front of me so fast that I had to slam the brakes to avoid hitting him. We come to a stop light, he's first I'm second in the left lane and there's a few cars in the right lane.
Light turns green, he hits it (apparently giving it all its got) but I have to easy of the gas to avoid rear ending him. As soon as I get past the cars in the rightlane I pass him up and then I just keep going and going (while the Civic is getting smaller and smaller in my mirror).
Well in all the action I missed my turn. I do a U-Turn and as soon as I get to the First stop light guess what! Another Eclipse just pulled out of a gas station and is right beside me at the stop light. He looks over and let's me know he wants to go. So, light turns green, I smoked Eclipse #2 and I feel pretty good right now.
I guess you could say that I only intended on cooking the rice but I ended up burning it! :-)

Are you saying that the S4 is in the same class as the TT? That's an insult to yourself . . . .
I know the difference between an S4 and the TT. My friend has an S4 and it's a no match.

Not going to get into a juvenile "yes I did/no you didn't"...
but it is simply the truth. And, yes, they were racing. Perhaps it was one of your S4 forum friends? All events happened on Rte. 1/9 between Elizabeth, NJ and Rahway, NJ. I owned a silver coupe at the time.
