Default Air Box Test

BlueshirTT sent me a bunch of data from runs made on Sunday, I'll try and get a look at the data soon. I the mean time raw plots of torque & hp are shown for those that can't wait to see how much blueshirTT's cold air induction helps. With his big intercooler we could see no difference in the intake manifold air temperature nor do the power plots show any great difference. Notice his peak power of 225 at 5500 rpm is normal for chipped cars (about 257hp adjusted) and is just about flat in the 6500 to 7000 rpm range (normally drops off).

Was this data logged on a dyno or on the road?

Was that an aftermarket filter in the stock airbox or stock filter? Thanks for your expertise.

Default The stock box had a K&N Filter in it. My fault . . .

I meant to put my stock filter in, but forgot to do that.

Default John, I think you might have made an error . . .

I just checked the data and none of the CDA tests ever hit a torque peak above 293.2 Nm and that was reached at 3240 rpm.

Who's data is who's in these two graphs?

How did you calculate the Hp? I don't see that in any of the data.

I don't have a CDA. I have a custom, one of a kind and soon to be discontinued coldair intake.
