Alarm LEDs remain lit all the time....
I read the manual and it says if this happens, there is a problem with the internal motion detector or something like that. Are there any "do these things first before going to the dealer" tips out there?
Thanks!

Re: Alarm LEDs remain lit all the time....
For my 2002 TTQC that condition of being lit all the time was intermittent. Sometimes it was more frequent during the rainy season. Sometimes it was inevitable if I opened the trunk with my remote before unlocking the doors.
The car was to the dealer for the problem about a dozen times, but it was never fixed. When the red lights were on after starting the car, I would turn it off and restart. 100% of the time the restart would make them go off. The problem never showed up on the dealer's computer, even when I took the car in with the red lights on and service advisors and technicians saw them lighted. It was some mysterious glitch in the electrical system that was never fixed, but could be worked around by a shutdown and restart.
