Default Alarm Settings

Another question I had-- I just got a 2000 TT about a month ago. Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the stock alarm? Also, is there a way to make the horn sound when it locks? I know the lights flash, but a honk or something would be nice too!

Default The horn should honk when you lock the car....

....it's actually a separate horn located in the left rear quarter panel, used only for that purpose. ...not uncommon for Audi horns to fail...probably just needs to be replaced. I don't know if the "horn honk on locking" is a programable function....maybe it is and could be turned back on if you have a Vag-Com, or the dealer could do it for you. I'm not aware of a sensitivity setting for the alarm...never heard of that over the last 5 years.

Default Cool, anyone have a writeup for alarm sensitivity settings?

I'd like to experiment, as I do have a roadster which I park topless quite often.
