Anyone know this owner? I'm never quite sure what reactions I'll get from Audi owners while I'm driving my Golf (which intentionally looks stock, though it has some gusto), but I was quite pleased to get a thumbs up from this TT driver. Happy motoring!
BTW, here's my Golf (4dr 1.8T):

And here's "before" and "during" dyno results from EPL after putting in and tuning a GT28R. Tuning has progressed since then, so I'll get it back on the dyno sometime soon for a new curve.:

That was me! I noticed the exhaust, 17" wheels >>>
I was all psyched when I got to work this morning...if I hadn't gone 120 mph this morning I would have been pissed off because of traffic :-)

nice "meeting" you. I went with the turn-down-tip exhaust to try to keep it stealthy...
but it's still shiny so does give itself away. The wheels are 17" OEM VW wheels, which I actually bought after selling the BBS (16") wheels that came with the car, again for my desire to keep it OEM-looking.
Do you have a chip in there? Seemed to move quite nicely.

http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/golf/</a

nah, it was the open road after the traffic
there was no weaving, lane changes, etc. When cars finally moved out of the way after going slow-ish for many many miles, it was clear road ahead, so we gave a little pressure to the right foot, enjoying the open-ness

that was 4th, I put in a taller 5th (more like a 6th) for cruising....
I let off somewhere in the middle so I could just coast up to the next batch of traffic without having to get on the brakes. I'd love to compare side by side some other time - what chip do you have? 225, I assume?

Yeah it's a 225...I have revo Stg 1, burying my 25 psi >>>
boost gauge right now (I think I'm hitting 26-27), I have to lower the boost a little, my DV isn't holding it too well, I think it may be time for a new one.

Also...what tranny did you take your 5th out of? My friend is always >>>
complaining that his Jetta's 5th gear is too short, and I'm sure he'll be looking for projects this winter (in addition to his big turbo of course)

I think it was from a TDI - the P/Ns are on my website....
I changed from the solid yellow line to the dotted yellow:
