Default Taking off the Audi rings and/or quatro emblems

I have no idea why people do this, but like most things car related it's all personal preference. Personally I agree with the defiling comment, but some people actually like the way it looks, just like some sick individuals think a gt spoiler on a tt is a good idea.

It seems like a lot of people are lemming it, that's why I was curious about it. I think the car looks great the way it does! :-)

What is a gt spoiler?

Default Debadging is an issue here on the forum? The reason why its done is because

those badges have been stolen from peoples cars, expecially the TT badge. The "TT" can also stand for Twin Turbo. Many have had screwdrivers used to pry the badges off the A$$ of the TT. Some have paid big $$$ to have their cars repainted because of the damage caused by idiots that like to steal things from other people's cars. I have not debadged my car personally.

Default I've always wondered just how many times it needs to say what it is?

Guess the maker wants to assure that people will know where to buy one.

Default We're not defilers, we're debadgers (and not all from Wisconsin:-))....

The defilers are the vandals with blunt instruments who steal the emblems and cause wanton damage by doing so. There have been many reported instances on this forum, just go up 2 threads from this one for the latest.
