Default Another humerous TT gawking story..

My girlfriend works as a waitress at a restaurant that is located contained within a Mall. Her co-workers of course had to come out and see the car, so i walked two of them wayyyyyyyyyyyyy out to the end of the parking lot where it was parked. As they're checking everything out, a car pulls up and parks next to my car. A couple get out, in their mid-late 20's. The guy says very softly "absolutely georgeous", as they're walking away, and the boyfriend is just kind of looking behind him as he walks towards the mall. The girlfriend quickly chimes in and grabs him by the arm and says "I told you, we can't afford one of those!".

The guy promptly follows the direction in which he is being tugged and starts looking towards the mall. I look back up, and notice that now the girl is staring back at the car while walking, apparently also having the same thoughts about the car as her boyfriend/husband/whatever. Quite a funny incident.

Default This car gets so much attention. I have to plan for .....

extra time whenever I go somewhere in it. Just stopping for coffee in the morning now takes another 5 minutes. Everywhere you go someone is asking about it. Mind you I am not complaining, just pointing out it is a fact of ownership.

Default When you are in Aspin, and a 10 year old girl on a bike shouts, love your car, makes you wonder.

Never saw a single other TT on my two recent road trips (3500 miles from Minn to the Poconos of NY and back and 3500 miles from Minn all around Colorado and back). But boy everyone gawks at mine, lots of smiles, waves, and happy comments. Gee its fun!

Hey FLVA,

The Poconos are in Pennsylvania and I've got my Roadster 180 here. We must have just missed one another. Could have been when I was driving down to Virginia, or across to Connecticut or up to New Hampshire----each time with the top down, get around....Hope to catch up with you next time around--I wouldn't mind having the noseprints of another TT owner on my car....

Default Here's one. Stopped at Boston Market to eat . . .

and part way through the meal I break the plastic fork. I go up to the counter to get another and the manager tells me that everyone going through the drive-through window is asking him what my car is. Just had to grin.
