Another satisfied customer of the ModShack
I have just finished installing ModShack Stage II and waiting to install the BM until I put around 50 miles or so on the VTDA & ****, as suggested by Steve. I have briefly tested the Stage II mods and they work beautifully. What you notice right away is the improvement in torque. The low end of the rpm curve is more robust and you can feel it in the seat of your pants. I have changed the VAG-com fuel usage function to 110 from 100.
You can hear the engine breathing in-and-out as you apply and back off the gas. It's a great sound. An unexpected, and pleasant surprise, in the sound generated is that the "BlueFlame" exhaust sounds better. Deeper and throatier than before the intake mods. I guess that since the engine is breathing better then it's also exhausting better. I know the feeling.
An aside is that I bought a "Protech Side Lift Pad" from PureMotorsports for $28 and after cutting it's height in half, it works great with my jack. Picture included.
I just want to finish off by saying that Steve's mods are first rate and very professional looking and they work good as he!!.
Thank you Steve for your products and your help.

Here is the site for the jack pad (do a search on Protech).......
I found that I had to cut the height by a factor of two because otherwise it would not lift on the lip but would lift on the rocker panel on one side and the underside of the car on the other. It's relatively easy to cut being hard rubber, but do use WD40 to ease the cutting otherwise the rubber will bind to the hacksaw.
Once cut, it works like a charm.

Thank you RoberTT. I can't wait to add the BM.......
I haven't been able to install my new 5Zigen-wheels/Falken-tires yet. They're sitting in my garage until EdgeRacing decides what to do with them. They drilled out the 12mm bolt holes to 14mm but they forgot to change out the 225s for 235s. So I'll probably have to send them back to them for the second time. It's been really frustrating since I originally ordered them on March 6.
