Default I've got the factory set-up made by Thule; love it. I think I have pics at home I can get later

If no one posts any by then, I will take some and post for you.

I'm just curious if the OEM rack is worth getting or just getting the feet/adaptors for my existing Thule bars and velovise bike trays. Thanks for the info..

Default The OEM rack if great! If you can find one get it, you could always sell it here quickly...

I have the OEM rack and it integrates well with the car. Audi no longer makes/sells the rack so if you know where to get one, I but another on the forum would love to know where to find one.

Default I've heard that the OEM rack has been discontinued

Don't know if there is any truth to that; I saw an ad for it in the latest Audi magazine, so who knows. I believe that the bike trays for Audi are the same as for any Thule system. But the bars are custom for the TT. I like them because they fit into the screw holes and integrate nicely with the roof. It was pricey, though... I think something like three or four hundred dollars. I can't remember; I bought it last summer.

Default I could be wrong, but I believe Thule made the OEM for Audi...

You can get the Thule base racks that fit into the TT's roof mounts for around $200

The factory racks are no more. Never again to be had. I think the only option is the Thule now.

Agreed--designed to harmonize with the TTs lines. A shame it's being discontinued. Why?!
