Default 225 or 180?

Hard to tell -- the rear view is a mfr. stock photo showing the twin tailpipes, and there's no mention of the HP or the number of gears. You'll want to verify this.

Default 225 if it's a Quattro, I think.

Evan,

Seems a bit pricey. Do you have you heart set on that car? Is it being sold through a dealer? Can you talk to the previous owner? Are the tires new? Is all of the service work stamped off in the maintenance book?

If not, I would advise you to keep looking. Don't be afraid to search nationally. We just bought a '01 TTRQ with 43K miles from an individual, and paid under loan value for it, but I had to look for a while.

Good luck!!!

Case

Default yep..... and I'm NOT telling where as it MAY be my next TT.

All the '01 roadsters and coupes I've seen in my area are cheaper than that.... I can get an '01 S4 for that price or less with similar if not better mileage. Keep looking unless they are also giving you a truck full of gold upon sale.
