Anybody else have small puddles of water collect on the bottom door sill when it rains?

Twice after a hard rain I've opened the door to find a puddle of water formed on that silver running board-looking door sill thing with the TT logo on it. The water seems to drain or evaporate while I drive.

Not really a problem since the water can't reach the interior of the car due to the lip on the inside of the door sill. Just curious whether I have a door seal leak or something is not aligned quite right to prevent water from collecting.

I just noticed the same thing a couple days ago. It probably did that all along, but after 9,000 miles, I'm just now noticing. I agree, it doesn't look like a problem. I imagine they all do that.

Yes, I've experienced the same thing

Don't worry, It's just ice melting from the Air Conditioning Unit.

Yes, me too, didn't think it was a problem, though

Yes, it seems normal. After rain, car wash there are puddles. Aluminum won't stain, it seems.

I've noticed it after washing the car (more)

Ok, not more above. More here. (Stupid enter key.)

I always pop the hood/hatch/doors and wipe everything down and there is always a puddle of water there. I also wipe under the doors but as soon as I close the door and open it again, more water magically appears. It's sort of like that bottomless pither magic trick.
