Hi...I'm picking my TTQC 225 tomorrow. The indicator light for low windshield washer fluid is on even though it's been filled. I was told a Vag/Com will turn that off. Is that true? What exactly is a Vag/Com? I'm trying to learn as much as possible about the TT. Shoulod I buy the Vag/Com to turn off this indicator light?

Hey...thanks for responding. Can the Vag/Com turn off the windshield fluid indicator off. It reads that it is low but, it's been topped off. I'm buying the car tomorrow and I'm hoping that that isn't a sign of a car that's having electronic problems. any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Default Funny that you should ask this question...

I have the exact same issue. You may want to check your headlamp washers - they may not be working. To check them, turn on your lights and then pull the stalk for at least 5 seconds. They should come on.

In my case, the electrical power to both my fluid sensor and washer pump has failed. I did some tricky wiring to alleviate the pump issue, but am left with the sensor indicator lighting up once in a while.

I sent a note to the Uwe Ross at Ross-Tech and should have an answer as to the VAG-Com option later this evening... will let you know what I find out.
