I checked the FAQ and didn't see anything about this.

I've been noticing a faint beeping noise in my car. I have the 2000 180hp model. It seems as though it is coming from the passenger side door. I noticed the other day that it seemed louder when the door was opened, so possibly it is something exterior?

Anyone know what this is?

I have had this on my car for over a year?!!! the dealer thinks I'm crazy. it never happens when it is at the dealer! I hope someone can help us.

you're hearing is it? If it is, it's a relatively common problem and there's a documented fix, at least for the coupe.

I don't think that's it. It sounds like it is definitely coming from the passenger door. It is difficult to hear and I normally notice it on the highway (I'll turn the stereo off to try to pinpoint it's location)

It was by far at it's loudest 2 days ago when I had my friend open the passenger door while we heard it. so it must be located somewhere in the door jam...don't see how it could be coming from the outside of the car.

Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

For some reason I just had to say that. The only beeping I have ever heard is from my center driver info panel. Speed warning and other stuff it tells ya. I hope you find it. Let us know.

only when i have AM radio on...not FM or CD.

what's the fix and documentation?

The problem that the TSB addresses is with the CD.
