Default I had one prior to the Sanyo I have now. It was a very solid little machine.

I liked the menus, and it took my abuse all through college.

I'd have bought another Samsung, but they (Sprint) didn't have one that compared to the Sanyo that I bought.

HTH, Hans!!

Default I Do Model SCH-A610

It's good, does it's job, has decent sound, decent mic, camera's a typical cell cam, it's all pretty good.

Downsides: Ringer is hard to hear, especially when using Ring-Tones. That's about it.

Personally I haven't been happy with a cell phone since the Motorola Flip Phone line, Star-Tac's I believe they were. Every one has been a step up in features but hasn't been the same.
I'm also looking for a new phone, gotta be a flip style and have bluetooth, everything else is fairly optional.

Default That's where i am too>>>

moved to an LG a couple of yrs ago...from a Motorola startac that i had for almost 6 yrs!!!!! When it finally died, i wore black for a week!!!

The LG is good...but its still not the voice/earpiece quality that i had become used to...so that's the bar.

If i can find one that i can keep my calendar on, and intergrate my Outlook with..that would be best...but its not a deal breaker.

Battery and voice/earpiece quality are numbers 2 and 1 respectively.....

I use mine to the tune of 2000min or so a month...so it has to be good and it MUST be verizon....

I've owned TONS of cell phones. Samsung makes the best & most durable product by far.

Default Why can't they make a holster that holds the phone as solidly as the Startac?

Either it has to be incased in Leather and bolted to a holster or it falls off in a puddle or bounces off the concrete somewhere. How hard can it be?
