Default Anyone had bubbling roof rack clips on the TT
Started to notice that the paint is bubbling on these clips.... should I replace them or repair???

Anyone know what the cause is?

Default warranty. Known issue. The strip they in the rain gutter is known to bubble, including the clips.
I have seen it myself 4 or 5 times.

Default Mine have a few small bubbles
but I've held back on replacing them for fear that something else would be damaged (like other areas of the paint!) during replacement.

Default Mine have bubbles too, one is very bad.....
I brought it up to the dealer and they said they need to talk to their rep about it and thats the last thing I heard. I will get it fixed one day, probably the same day they fix my CEL that has found a permanent home on my dash....

Got 3 of them too. I plan to just sand them lightly and hit them with touch up paint.

Default Yep, replaced under warranty. First reaction was not covered until i showed them an AW thread
(of course i ended up with light scratches in the surrounding clear coat
