Default Anyone have SSR Competition wheels and Stoptech brakes on their TT?

Specifically the 17x7.5 SSR Comp wheel.

Did you need spacers to make them fit?

TIA

Default You will need at least a 6mm spacer

Default Thanks, Is that yor car? if so a few questions.

What is the tire size? 225/45/17 or 235/40/17?
Did you consider going w/ the 17x8 rim? Maybe this size won't need the spacer.

How do they compare to the stock 5 spkes?

Thanks Again

I bought the rims used from a forum member so I had to go with the size he had.

They are significantly lighter (13lbs.) I currently use them as track wheels and have my Smart Tire system installed. (Sold my stock wheels long ago)

For every day use I prefer my 18" Ronal LZ's which have plenty of clearance for the Stoptech's and get alot of compliments. (These are pretty heavy at 27lbs though)

Default That is exactly what I want to do.

The 18" sportecs are 28-29lbs each. They look great but are heavy.

Thanks for the info
