anyone installed blind spot split mirrors? impressions?

saw them on TT stuff , do they make a big difference??

That was the first mod on my TT......if you want to call it a mod.

and is very well worth it. I can't see how I could drive any other way now!! -Doug

great after you get used to them- consider paying the dealer to install them...

a special tool is used to retrude the prongs holding the mirror. Should cost maybe $30 at dealer. I broke one stock mirror removing them and way back (2000-2001) there were reports of some damaging the mirror retainer which is all plastic. Overall an excellent mod to do.
