Anyone interested in a drivers side xenon ?
It's the whole thing.... ignitor, ballast, bulb etc.
There's a scratch on the clear plastic in the front, that i doubt you'll be able to get out.
Long story short... I was in an accident and was talking to my bodyshop to try and get the my own headlight housing for the S4 (since someone was interested in it... hey someone may as well benifit at my misfortune...).
Anyway, they'll only sell me my housing ($100), but no ignitor, ballast etc... but he said if I do buy it, he'll give me an entire working TT xenon to see if I can swap/use parts.
(i told him I wanted them for a project... which is kinda true.. it's not MY project, but a fellow AW'ers project. ).
Anyway, he doesn't really want to fiddle with trying to retrofit TT stuff into the S4 housing... but since I've already talked to the bodyshop, I should be able to get the TT headlight under the same guise and just chuck my own housing (maybe keep it to practice a clear corner mod on or something).
P.S. I'm going off of HIS word. I don't know if it works... I suppose if someone's interested, I could have him bench test it for me or something.
Email me if anyone is intersted (esses@computer.org)
Oh yeah... I'm in phoenix.
