Anyone know if 17" BBS Rg-R's will clear big brakes? Any pics of these rims on a TT?

The answer is probably not. Some time back on the VW Vortex site a person had got a set of RGR BBS wheels for a 225 TT Quattro coupe' with stock brakes and the fronts cleared barely, but the rears scraped against stock calipers.
The problem is that the rear face plate of the RGR they were sent by a reputable vendor would maybe work on a 5x100 VW. but not on an Audi TT. If you look at the rear face plate of a stock TT wheel, you will see that the cylinder of metal projects quite a distance inward and the surface that meets the wheel hub is quite a distance from the inside of the wheel spokes. Many aftermarket wheels, including some BBS wheels, do not have that cylinder projecting inward, so the distance from the inner mounting face of the wheel to the inside face of spokes is insufficient to clear even stock TT calipers, much less "big brakes."
