Default anyone know what would cause this?

okay, so my rear tires are completely destroyed...

<img src="http://www.personal.kent.edu/~cplasket/roadtrip/slides/DSCN0097.JPG">

from another angle
<img src="http://www.personal.kent.edu/~cplasket/roadtrip/slides/DSCN0098.JPG">

and, for comparison, one of the front tires
<img src="http://www.personal.kent.edu/~cplasket/roadtrip/slides/DSCN0099.JPG">

but i have NO idea why the rears are that obliterated... they seem to be wearing relatively evenly (they aren't really cupping), but obviously VERY quickly. also, it's not an inflation issue as the fronts have about 4 more pounds in them and they've endured just fine.

if it were a camber issue, i'd expect to see uneven wear on the sides of the tires...

anyone have any ideas?

*btw, i'm running h&amp;r coilovers with the forge camber arms*

I see the problem. You have little red x's where your tires should be!

Default when you lowered and got camber back into spec? what was the toe angle?

If they didn't get it close you are draging the tires along wich will cause this. Just a thought

Default I got it now. Did you rotate them regularly? You certainly got your money's......

worth out of them. I would think front's would wear sooner but being they are wearing even I would say no cause for concern. Maybe one of the expert's on the wheel &amp; tire forum could give you more info.

Default that's what i suspected.

i was not given a readout of the completed alignment, but i'll let you know what happens.

btw, the forge arms do or do not have toe adjustment?

Default i just went on a really long road trip...

i noticed it at about half-way through the trip...

i suppose it explains why the car would hydroplane like mad and why the bump steer was so awful, eh?
