Anyone with a roadster wanna take a close-up pic of strut bar (where it bolts to firewall)...

and measure the diameter of it for me? I want to do a 225 strut bar on mine if it bolts up to the same place AND is of a larger diameter.

If you dont have a pic I could still use the diameter measurement interimly.

Mance the bars are the SAME size. We checked this during the weigh-in a few weeks ago.

Doesn't your Fwd TT have this bar? It connects to two different spots on the firewall. The bar is about 1"+/- thick.

Yes, I have one. But two articles I've read say the "R" is larger & they have a diff Audi part#

Also, how many bolts hold yours in place? Michael mentioned eight

on the 225 TTQC in his post on the diverter valve installation somwhere below, but I counted only six on my 180 TTQC.<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m.new/tt/msgs/93539.phtml">Michael's post</a></li></ul>
