I just bought the Lowrance portable GPS and it's pretty awesome but it restricts the visibility using the windshield mount too much.

Anybody know of another way to mount this so it doesn't block too much of the view out the front?

I looked on their website and could not find the "Gadget V2." How is it attaching to the dashboard between the air vents?

Is it possible to mount the i500 similar to how it looks on the TomTom ... I like the way it's mounted fairly close to the dash and the height. What would I have to order from GPS city to make it work?

Like that guy did, just mod your existing cradle if possible and drill a V1. He did that with no additional hardware..
