Attacking a newbie:
There is absolutely no reason why you guys should be on the offensive when someone joins this forum, even if you are suspicious of the person being an alias of another member. There is absolutely no excuse for the personal attacks and name calling that has proceeded to take place. This is a public forum open to all and welcome to all. Fun conversations, insightful topics, OT posts, and joke friday are what set us apart from any other car forum, I believe we have set ourselves apart from other forums in our ability to regulate ourselves, so please mind your p's and q's to other members, even if they are fake.

Agreed, negative personal posts ruin the forum... and do nothing, in my mind,
to enhance credance the individual making them. There are some individuals, in fact some forum names that I will just automatically ignore because of their all the time hostile, know-it-all attitude. If we had an "ignore" button it would be put to good use. It is nice also, at times, that an individual who starts out hostile will come to understand the personality of the forum and will become a valuable contributor.

P's to the left... Q's to the right... well said AKRascal!
Ignore button would be nice. I must admit that I have been ashamed of the way people have been treated. I'm not saying I think anyone is fake, but even if they are, tell them off politely!
