Default audi dealer auction prices

Anyone know what price the dealer typically gets used cars for at auction. For example I know a dealear that's selling a 2001 225 TTQ which has 45,545 miles for $26,400. They say they bought it at the Audi auction. What do you think they bought this for?

Default This just makes my mad.

I considered trading my 01 225 Coupe for a new 3.2L when they arrive. Keep in mind I don't even have 17K miles on my TT yet and all they were willing to initially give me on a trade was $21,000. I told them no way and they said the best they could do is $22,000. So I guess I will be keeping my AG TT for a while longer. How can they turn around and make a 4 or maybe 5 thousand dollar profit on this to a customer and feel good about it? I know part of this goes to the salesman and then to the techs so they can certify it and then park it on the lot until it sells. It just seems like going through all of the trouble to sell it yourself is so worth it. Ok, I am stepping down from the soap box now.....but I don't feel any better. -Doug

No sales tax...that would eat smaller dealers alive.

Default For up to the minute auction prices...post at the included link....

Post all the details on the car, including location, and condition, and Terry will get back to ya with what they're fetching at the auction this week....or at least recently if not this week.

I toasted the link because it logged people in under my username...damn computer nerds...
