Audi dealer offered to put in a Stage 1 Mod. What do you make of that?!

Audi dealer offered to put in a Stage 1 Mod. What do you make of that?!
I am the happy owner of a 2001TTQC, but would jump at the chance for a "TTS" with say, 260Hp. I went to Braman Audi in West Palm today to ask about next an increase in HP in next years TT and he gave me the standand answer that there would not be an increase in HP for 2003. Much to my surprise, he suggested that I MOD the car with a chip. When I gave the standard reply, "won't that void the warranty?", he went on to say that there is no problem with a Stage 1 mod and that he could arrange to have it put in the car at the dealership.
Imagine that!
