Default Audi ECU update??

I know this might sound weird, but has anyone had their TT in to service just recently? Was there an ECU update? I swear they must have done something to the programming because of a couple of things. First, before when I use to turn on the climate control and press the circulate internal air button. The light for that button obviously goes on, but when I turn off the climate control and turn it back on, the circulate button would go back to an off state. But now, since my 20k service last Friday, the light and feature remains on when I turn it off and then back on.

Now this isn't a big deal, but what IS a big deal is that my performance feels different. It feels like there is more power and more pulling up into the higher RPMs. Anyone hear of an update recently? If this is the case, then this is pretty cool to have more horsepower for free. Or am I just imagining things? (I really don't think I am considering that I've always pushed my car fairly hard and I have gotten accustomed to how it performs). FYI, I am driving a 2001 225TTQC if that helps any.

Default What does it say on your service report? My guys document everything.

Maybe they gave you the latest DV revision. Seriously, if they replaced anything, it should be accounted for there. Either a DV or they just fixed something that wasn't correct from the beginning.

Default They're two completely different ECUs

Default Re: Audi ECU update??

In trying to find the reason for the delay of my 2002 I have been told by two people that Audi had issued a "stop sale" on all cars in the line except the A8. Concerned a computer component. Dealer said a 4 man team sent by Audi to inspect every car in port. Maybe this is related. Anyway car still in port after at least six weeks.

Default Doesn't say anything out of the ordinary in the documents...

And I sure hope they DIDN'T change the DV considering I have a Bailey in there. I'm going to check right now. I replaced the DV when I first got the car, so I have gotten accustomed to how it handles with the new DV and it feels better than it did last week. Anyways, it's all good for me. Actually, one question, do you think they could have reset the ECU? I mean, the ECU adjusts the air flow/fuel consumption over time right? Or something along that line. As the car gets older, it re-adjusts itself to work with the worn in car? Would this have anything to do with the performance?
