Default audi mk1 225

hello just had engine light on the dash code p0340 camshaft position sensor a circuit bank 1 or single sensor been told it is the timeing belt .changed the camshaft sensor still got the fault
so is it the cam belt or any ideas please

I'd need to have the vehicle in front of me to accurately diagnose. . Where are you located? When I have time, my rate is $125/hr. I('m booked time-wise until the Christmas holidays though.

I got throw a flag in on this exchange. John, are you seriously suggesting that someone wait for your services till December of 2019? Put aside that Audi’s tend to not do well when floating across the pond lol........ you must be one heck of a technician to not have time till December.
