Audi TT Dead Pedal vs. VW MKIV TT Dead Pedal
I found a spare TT Dead Pedal on the vwvortex forum, but the pedal appears to be a VW part. I know that the Audi TT Dead Pedal part number is 8N1864777A7NP. The part number on the back of the VW pedal (which looks identical to the Audi TT Pedal) is 1J1864777A. Does anyone know if these are cross-referenced as the same part, and if so, will the VW Dead Pedal work on the TT? I have pictures of the back of the VW pedal, and it looks identical, but I know there are TT Dead Pedals for Beetles and Golfs floating around that are slightly different (but might still fit on a TT...?). Thanks.

Re: 7NP is just the color code
Okay, that was one of my hunches. I don't mind having black trim on the Dead Pedal (my interior trim is grey) if I can save ~40 bucks. Thank you.

1J1-864-777-A is the dead pedal base listed for the New Beetle and Golf...
and available in black, cream or beige covers. 8N1-864-777-A is the TT dead pedal in bright chrome. -7NP is feather grey. -4PK is soul black and -6G6 is indigo. Doesn't list the parts as interchangeable.

Wouldn't show it as interchangeable
BEcause to VW/Audi it is not.. but that does not mean the parts do not fit.
I've got the TT one in my jetta and so do thousands of others..
Honestly it is actually slightly different but fits...
