Audi TT Tonneau Dimensions
Does anybody know the dimensions for a 1999 - 2006 Audi TT Tonneau cover?

They make 2 types; Roadster and Coupé . In any event I am not quite sure how one may measure it. I have one for my Coupé but I am not quite sure how to measure it; it's a snug fit on my car.
Ask the vendor, they can give it to you. Any specific reason that you need it. Good luck. Regards. |
How hard was it to cut your roof off? You must of since you have a Tonneau cover on a coupe.

Common problem, this language thing. The coupe's cargo cover is often erroneously called a "tonneau".
So is the roadster's boot cover, that which covers the folded top but leaves the cockpit open {this brings up the British confusion between "boot" and "trunk"). A tonneau cover is what covers the folded top and goes over the seats when the car is parked with the top down. Classically, they're split so the driver can use the car with the passenger seat still covered, which is very nice on a chilly night. Audi's answer to the roadster's semi-rigid clamshell boot cover is a rather unusual half-tonneau which mounts on a rail that's installed just in front of the rear buffet shield, and whose design allows use of the windows and even the top while in place. At their longest, the panels are about 63" This explains it better: http://public.fotki.com/mcphill/audi...onneau_covers/ The factory tonneau is still available for $350~$400. |
