Auxilliary Radiator for the TT using VR6 parts ?......

was thinking that with a FMIC - you might have room to run the auxilliary radiator that comes standard on VR6 VW's and the Audi 3.2TT. Would have to see how to plumb it in - but might not be a bad idea. Here's a pic of one on a VR6 Golf. Looks like an intercooler in this pic.

OK - well VR6's use an extra radiator to assist in cooling as does the RS6....
due to space constraints of putting in a bigger radiator in the front - they put the auxilliary radiator off to the side. I was thinking that if you use a FMIC - you could put one in to assist in cooling the pretty hot running 225's. Would just have to figure a way to plumb it into the cooling system. Would also add additional coolant to the system as well.

If i were to track the car, on a consistent basis, might be worth >>
taking a look at it....i was reserving that space for an oil cooler....;-)
Joe, you got any documentation showing the FMIC hurts air flow to the radiator??? Curious....
also, anyone ever done a OEM radiator swap to a larger core? I would probably want to do that first...IMO

No info on FMIC negatively affecting the radiator - I was thinking of doing this solely because
cooler is better :-) Just a thought. I also thinking of doing the oil cooler there, might be room for both - but I don't know.
