Back from Kentucky. 1500 miles, 10 hours, 31mpg....
I love this car more than ever!!! (2002, TTQ180hp, GIAC x-chip, DV, sport package) I thought That I would be tired and uncomfortable but I was wrong. The trip was beautiful. No trafic. I loved I-79 in West Virginia. Beautiful country reminds of northen Italy, near the Swiss border. The car run perfectly (10K on it). I kept an average of 73mph and I am driving at 1..mph for about 2 hours. I also love my Escort 8500. Picked up several cops about 1/2 mile before turning the hill or the curve. The incredible thing: only $45 in gas each way maintaining an average of 31mpg!!! The TT gets a little noisy aroung 3500rpm on 5th gear. But the Bose takes over. In short: love the car more than ever. It can cruise on the American Highways like any Caddy.
