Default Battery - Electrolyte levels.

2002 225 TT. Original battery. 25k miles.

How do check the electrolyte levels in the battery? And if low, add water?

It seems like the battery is sealed -- but am I missing something? Any pics would be appeciated. Thank you.

I have never added distilled water to a sealed battery. But that does not mean that it cannot be done. However, I rather doubt it.

I'm trying to confirm whether it is actually sealed or not. The manual references checking and adding water....but i can't locate any type of cap to snap open....

Default Most "sealed" Maintenance free batteries...>

Have the caps integrated into flush mounted stips over the fills. You can generally pry them off and snap them back on. You're getting real close to needing a new battery anyway..
