Battery Replacement
 

Recommendations for an after-market battery replacement for TT's ('01)?

alot of people like optimas....i just went to wal-mart
 

and paid $34.99 for a cheapo one.

Also, Sears has an International battery that is supposed to fit.

Be careful with your selection.
 

Audi used several different battery holders during production. Some, like mine have posts on the holder in unusual places so a generic battery will only fit if you file off several notches in the battery (which I had to do with the wall-mart battery). The filing does not hurt the battery but it is a pain. The dealer battery just drops in.
