Default A big THANKS to Steve for giving me the confidence to drive the TT back

150 miles home after the serpentine belt let go. I did take the good Dr. Schwing's advice though and bought a spare battery (which I needed to get me the last 25 Miles).
I haven't started any dissassembly yet to see what really happened. The alternator may have seized up first because I saw the battery Icon and then a few minutes later had no power steering or AC. BTW...What a tank these things are with no Power Steering I'm glad I was in slow traffic when the belt broke.

Default Depending on mileage, I'd suspect Alternator. Mine let go in June.

Ugly!

Good luck!

Sorry for the breakdown - but congrats on the anniversary. Any chance you might pop up to the GTG?
